The Safe-Quip 120 series multi-layer suit is made up of an outer layer of durable Pyrovatex® FRC, backed by a layer of Nomex®, then lined by another layer of Pyrovatex®. Pyrovatex® offers the maximum combination of overall flame and heat protection, durability and comfort for the price. This FRC material retains the softness and breathability of cotton and will wick away moisture from the skin. Pyrovatex® fabric is gentle and non-irritating to even the most sensitive skin. The treatment process leaves the exterior surface shiny and supple. Since the Pyrovatex® treatment is absorbed into the cotton fibers, with proper care; the garment will retain its flame retardant properties beyond the useful life of the garment.

All Safe-Quip suits are assembled with heavy-duty, multi-needle, over-lock safety stitch machines to provide exceptional seam strength. All suits feature a high quality, heavy-duty two-way YKK zipper built on FR tape installed with a double overlap for a more secure front opening. Stylish contrasting armband stripes match the full-length leg stripes. The black accents: high-back collar, leg and arm cuffs, epaulets and beltline, give Safe-Quip suits a unique look and style. Add to this the pleated back panel for freedom of movement, boot cuffs, deep bag pockets and the adjustable euro-style belt, and you have a multi-layer suit that provides an outstanding value. New for 2008, The Patriot-5™ is a multi-layer all Nomex® construction racing suit that's built by American craftsmen in RaceQuip's Irmo, South Carolina production facility. The suit features some uniquely American styling cues: straight epaulets, boot cuffs, a classic belt with Velcro® closure, contrast piping, internal bag pockets, and contrasting vertical quilting to name a few. Quality is built into each Patriot-5™ by using only heavy-duty Nomex® thread as well as two-way Nomex® backed Brass YKK zippers to ensure long life. All RaceQuip suits are made in the USA and assembled with heavy-duty, multi-needle, over-lock safety stitch machines to provide exceptional seam strength. The arms and legs are finished with knit Nomex® ankle and wrist cuffs in black, so they won't show dirt like light colored cuffs. The suit is constructed using an outer layer of durable Nomex® IIIA mated to RaceQuip's proprietary lightweight Therm-X™ liner. This combination offers tremendous comfort for the wearer plus extended longevity. The Patriot-5™ exceeds SFI 3.2A/5 standards with a Thermal Protection Performance (TPP) rating of 26. All suits are built with black arms and legs with a choice of a red or blue torso. The Patriot-5™ is exactly what many racers are looking for; a US Made lightweight SFI-5 Nomex® racing suit that's stylish and reasonably priced. Sold as a one-piece suit only, both colors are stocked in sizes Large through 2X large (refer to sizing chart).

Mach III and MACH III Drag 3-Layer Suits - are designed for the racer on a budget are still very comfortable and made with the finest of fire retardant materials. Both suits are SFI 3.2A/5 Certified and are made of a BANOX outer layer, a Flamequilt liner (made of BAS-O-FIL). The MACH III comes standard with a checker billboard, and white epaulets. Standard sizing. Also add $30.00 per X over 1X.

Our newest two-layer SFI 3.2A/5 NOMEX III suit has an inner layer made from THERM-X rather than NOMEX Fleece. What does this mean? THERM-X is an ARIMID fabric made exclusively for SAFE-QUIP. It has a 25% greater TPP rating than most fleece suits thereby making this suit lighter than our competitor’s suits and better able to absorb moisture thus keeping the driver cooler. THERM-X is also soft and comfortable.

Available in Red, Black and Blue standard colors. Other colors available at optional charge - Standard sizing applies. Custom sizing available. Also add $20.00 per X over 1X.
